The administration could be a little better with helping kids going through health issues that are out of their control.

Toms River High School South is a school that has many students that like to be involved and participate in several clubs and activities due to our school spirit.

It was a nice place to meet people but I did not like the academics or the faculty that much. I did have a few teachers that really did invent the time and effort into their students but that lacked any knowledge of student struggles. There was a lot of discrimination and racism among students and faculty did not treat minority students with the same care and respect as other students.

I’m leaving south soon due to moving but I do want to say it isn’t a terrible school, sure there is some bullying going around but there’s bullying everywhere, you have to learn to ignore it. We have a new Principal, JAMES RICOTTA, JR. He came to SOUTH HS IN 2014. He was the formerly Principal at BEACHWOOD ELEMENTARY. I find Mr. Ricotta, strict, compassionate & very good at his job.
