Overall very good at college prep. The english teachers at Metro will definitely prep you well for college whether or not you like it. The higher level classes offered are pretty solid. The only issue I have with them would be sometimes there is a lack of proper explanation and elaboration on some of the topics and I do not fully understand them. My experience with the standard level classes was very different than that of the higher level classes. Theres almost a split in culture between the higher level and lower level classes. If you were to enroll here I would strongly recommend at least taking honors classes as they are not significantly harder than on level and the environment will be much better.

I think metro is a good school that welcomes all people. It is like a community. Metro helps bring community, academics, and athletics together in a way everyone deserves to experience.

Metro is a good school. Most of the teachers at Metro are amazing. It's definitely a school that can get the students ready for college. The students are generally nice. However, the school lacks diversity. The students attending Metro are mostly white with a handful of African Americans and international students.
