GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Many opportunities are non-engaging such as SCF, Student Government Sports are a big deal, but are often hard to become involved with as a new player Robotics is excellent but is an enormous time commitment Acadec is competitive and fun, but also requires more time than ideal

Opportunities are often very limited due to funding, available teachers (we would like a programming class / other tech classes / more AP but there are no teachers able to teach them), and lack of student interest

My wife and I along with our daughter and her three children attended the production of HONK! on March 26. It was extremely well done. We appreciated the acting and the singing. I could hardly believe that these were junior high students. Congratulations to the director and to all the performers for...

I was a guest speaker at two film classes taught by Cord Rawlinson, and I was extremely impressed by the school, the students, their attentiveness and questions - and the fact that a high school has a film program in the first place. I have written for major Hollywood studios, as well as authoring e...
