Christ the King Catholic School offers a tech-forward approach to learning for students pre-K through eighth grade. The school uses Google Classroom with each student having access to their own Chromebook. Students in fifth through eighth grade can also take the computers home. Each classroom is also equipped with a Smartboard or Clevertouch Board to make educational instruction easier.
The private school also provides pre-K education in the morning for children three to five years old with Stay and Play options into the afternoon. The pre-K learning program combines play and exploration to teach students math, science, reading and language skills. More than 200 children of all faiths from across the St. Louis area attend Christ the King which offers general studies, along with specialty classes in Spanish, art, music and physical education.
Christ the King also offers a wide range of extracurricular activities to meet a variety of interests. The school also has a robust athletic program with indoor and outdoor soccer, volleyball, baseball, softball, basketball and tee ball.
Christ the King Catholic School is accredited by the National Federation of Non-Public School State Accrediting Association and is located on the corner of Balson and Purdue Avenues.
