Parent of 2 kids at this school. Very good community with a focus on strong academic excellence. Come here if you want your child to be challenged to their highest potential. While sports may take a back-burner, it really is refreshing from the Friday night lights culture that is in Nashville, and have a group that truly just cares about academics. School is for the intellectually curious.

USN is great. The teachers care a lot about students, and there is a very diverse and open culture on campus.

USN is hands down the private best school in the state- top notch academics, dedicated teachers and they value diversity. The curriculum is tough but flexible and the kids are all extremely gifted. I would like to echo the previous reviewers. My son was jumped by a kid in the gym but because his parents are benefactors (think over ten grand) he was let off the hook.
