CMIT South is overall a pretty good school. It has some shortcomings when it comes to diversity of the students or the cleanliness of their bathrooms, but the educational side is highly informative. Many of teachers and staff that teach at the school are also kind and understanding.

I wish my school would had a better sport program, They have the fundings but don't use it. They should use it on better sport, staffing, food and maybe a bigger school like expanding

My experience at CMIT SOUTH is pretty good. The best parts about CMIT is of course the basketball games and lunch when we all get to be on our phones freely. Speaking of phones... There is a really strict rule about cellphones. They have to be in your locker and if you get caught with your phones the administrators will take it. You won't get your phone back till your parent or guardian come get it. Things I would like to see change is teachers not being understanding. My reasoning is because some teachers don't be lenient about work. Some people have afternoon activities to do and teachers just don't care. Another thing I would like to see change is how we dress. Our uniform policy is really strict and some people like to express themselves through clothing and it's taken away from us. We can't even wear Crocs to school.

Honestly I’m so glad this is my sons last year at this school. The teachers my son has had over the years have been between fantastic to terrible. ESPECIALLY this year. His kindergarten, 2nd grade, and 3rd grade teachers were the absolute best! They communicated with me effectively and efficiently....

The leadership at this school takes zero accountability for anything that goes wrong. They won’t even hold their teachers accountable for gross misconduct. Most of the good teachers have left, however, they still have a handful remaining that actually care and teach the children. They have the kids...
