GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

In my freshman year is when I moved to Urbana High School. At first it was something that scared me, but due to sports I was able to meet more people. I played volleyball all 4 years, and this provided me with very close friends. Also, I have been able to receive access to various college credit classes.

A better passion for teaching. Teachers need to want to be there. More kids wanting to play sports. I feel like sports help kids stay on track.

There are a few teachers that do not keep up on their grading, and are not too pleasant to be around. But, there are many of the teachers who are very friendly and genuinely want to help us.
