I went to Cimino a LONG time ago. It was a very well developed school at the time and I think I could have enjoyed it more, but I found it so hard to make friends. Now, that may have not been the school's fault, but I did not feel connected to anyone. One problem I saw was dividing classes by intelligence (I'm not sure if that's how they divided the classes, but it felt like that to 3rd grader me). I did have some awesome teachers and some awful teachers for an elementary kid.

My experience is that I went because of the stars and comments that this school was excellent and that they really care that the students understand and rise to the next level.First the school has the Esol program but from time to time I asked for it for 1 year since the primary language is Spanish...

Wonderful experience all around! Teachers are effective and engaging, community is positive and there is a ton of parental involvement. The only gripe is not a major one is that the car lines could be better run and organized.

The teachers are excellent- both very caring & academically challenging. The staff are helpful & friendly. The principal sets a good overall tone & focus (character counts, "big picture" important, emphasis on doing better than you did yesterday, growth mindset) for students & teachers alike.

This is our first year at Cimino with our youngest daughter and from experience we can say that this is one of the best school we have attended. As a military family we have moved a lot.
