I went to the IB MYP at Plaza. Although the actual academy & curriculum was helpful for high school, the building & environment was not. We do not have many interactions with the "zoned" kids, the students who go to Plaza outside of the academy. So, the school is almost segregated between the academy kids & the zoned kids.

I was in the IB MYP program, and drove myself into the ground working. I was involved in nearly everything, and left middle school exhausted. I struggled with my peers, but teachers and other admin were pretty supportive and caring.

i was bullied relentlessly by students and had to leave last year and im finally coming back this year and needless to say, nothing has changed. people are terrible there. the staff doesnt know how to deal with the mentally ill students when they have outbursts, and the school is shady and doesnt ca...

Plaza is a great school that has afforded my child a fantastic education. The IB program exposes the students to creative and broad educational content that is difficult to find elsewhere.

The academy is great however the academy kids are with the general population during lunch and electives which is the downfall of coming here. The neighborhood kids are cursing, fighting and make the entire decision to come here questionable.
