St. Matthew's is a wonderful school!! The teachers have the best interest for the students in mind. All of my children attended St. Matthew's from Preschool through 8th grade. They all soared and excelled further on in high school and then college.

ST. Matthews is the best school in the tidewater area for preparing our kids For High School and beyond. Also the Spiritual teaching and teaching the kids about Jesus is the most important aspect of life.

As a child, I attended SMS for 9 years. Fast forward to my graduation from college with a teaching degree, and St. Matthews was the first school I applied to and the first school I taught in. I left for a few years, but then the time came for my own children to start school. I couldn't imagine sending them anywhere were else. They started at SMS for the 2022-2023 school year, and I joined them back on the teaching staff for the 2023-2024 school year. We all couldn't be happier to be back home.

Unfair conduct system, teachers will hold a class back and will not tell the next bell’s teacher that they will be late.
