This is a very small school. Teachers know their students well. Most teachers are willing to provide extra help if the student needs it. Teacher's are readily available to parents as well as the guidance counselor's. Both my kids have been able to form good friendships and have not run across bullying. The superintendent is fantastic and keeps families up to date with a monthly letter. I have seen so many improvements in the time he has been there. There have been a few different principals in the last few years which makes it a little difficult for the students. They have added an assistant principal which I think is helpful. My kids are involved in a few of the clubs which they enjoy. There is a lot of homework assigned in the upper high school grades which can make it difficult for students to manage with other after school activities. Overall we are all very happy with the high school and would recommend it to anyone considering moving to Voorheesville.

At this school, you go from Kindergarten to high school with the same group of people since there is only 1 elementary school. If you get a good group of people, you have a fun grade all the way through. If you don't, you can guess the rest. The good thing is every teacher knows you, and you pretty much know everyone in the school. Classes can be hard, but they prepare you well for college with the difficulty of work and the amount of homework given. Teachers and staff are helpful and I felt totally safe.

My Highschool is overall a very good high school to go to school. The teachers are mostly nice and understanding. The best part is some teachers who take the time to get to know their students, but the worst times is constantly being yelled at to put bags away in lockers. I would like to have my backpack to carry books and such so I don't have to go back to my locker every other period.

My son is delighted to be a student in this High School. I asked him wheter he wanted me to enroll him in another school (maybe with more students, more athletics and more art clubs) and he answered "NOOO! I LIKE MY SCHOOL!" That makes me feel confident not only in the academic area ( the school alw...

The Middle School and High School are separated but the 6-8 grade is not. This is NOT what you hear it is.My child has learned some pretty colorful words. The girls wear clothing that is skin tight. padded bars and walk around this way starting at 6th grade. They carry themselves without any charact...

I am in the 10th grade now, and there aren't any teachers that I "like". Most of the teachers take a long time handing assignments back, skip over slides on the PowerPoints and some of them are rude to students unnecessarily. As a student, there is some teasing going on at all times, but not really...
