The best parts of my experience here was being introduced to so many nice and inclusive teachers and great administrative support, and that I felt welcomed and included as soon as I got comfortable in my classes!

Toll Gate has a lot of problems in my opinion, the main ones being the teachers, the building, and the students. A lot of the teachers are very unhelpful and their grading scales are unfair. There are some amazing ones though. The building is actively decaying as the roof has flown off and the building has flooded recently. The students are very obnoxious and disrespectful and administration is not always helpful about it.

My favorite part about going to Toll Gate was socializing with my peers and interacting with sports. There are lots of options for sports and clubs at Toll Gate for anyone to participate in despite any interests.

Toll Gate High School has some very dedicated teachers and support staff and some great academic and skills-based programs, especially in their CTC programs however the school has deep school climate and school culture issues. This has to be one of the worst schools in RI. I have very little trust in the public education system as a whole, but Toll Gate is such a horrible school that does nothing for it's students. DO ANYTHING TO AVOID THIS TERRIBLE INSTITUTION.
