I would definitely like to see more diversity, i feel like the amount of people in my state that are white, far outweigh any other race, and i feel like it affects the way our school functions.

My personal experience with Washington has been lovely. I love all the fine arts options available, and there are many classes available I wouldn't have originally thought of taking. I'm glad that our resource officers are always on top of things by making sure the students and staff are safe when events are happening outside the school that may impact us. My only complaint is that many of the required classes often impact my ability to take classes I want to take. An example of this is that since I was in a different middle school system I have to take Health, meaning I have to take off one of the classes I wanted to be in all four years. The food options for both breakfast and lunch are great, and the fact we have a school store with inexpensive snacks is also a luxury that I don't see often in schools. My favourite part of Washington High School is the staff; all of the teachers I've experienced have been kind and respectful, including the substitutes.

Before going to Washington High school, I always knew that it was a place I wanted to be and a place where I belonged. Not only is my school very diverse, it encourages students of all ethnic backgrounds to showcase their cultures in any way possible. From clubs to dance groups, I've seen several cultures throughout my years at Washington. One big thing that's important to me at any school is diversity so I feel comfortable fitting in, and Washington has just that.
