I love this school. We may not have much to offer in extracurricular activities, but we make up for it in the success in the classroom. I genuinely believe this is because the faculty is completely devoted to the students. We hear about the tradition of excellence regularly, and we truly live up to those expectations. This was shown by earning the title of being a national blue ribbon school.

Like WHS this school has a strong bias between local townie kids and outsiders, be it those who moved in or country kids. It was okay. The security systems were complete bogus, and did not block any social platforms. We had no lockers, and had to carry our 20lb backpacks all over school, up and down two flights of steps.

Being a life long Bluejay, I can say that the School District Of Washington is a great public school system. The contact between parents and teachers is great. The faculty and staff are excellent. There are two principals and when I tried to speak with one with a concern, she became very defensive. She would not listen to what I had to say and kept talking over me.
