Before going to Waterford High, I applied to go to other high schools in the area. I didn't get into those schools, and I'm glad I didn't because I have genuinely enjoyed my time at Waterford. Although there have been a few hiccups with a couple teachers, overall it has been much more enjoyable than I expected. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I genuinely miss being in school, seeing my teachers, and participating in my clubs.

Nice teachers, good environment to learn in, and a lot of support from fellow students and teachers. The school community is very unified and safe as well. I have had a lot of fun throughout my 4 years at this school, and I feel like it has prepared me very well for my college and future in general.

My time at Waterford High School was overall very good. My only complaint would be the math department.

To give an update- both field hockey and lacrosse have been incorporated as official school sports. A new high school building was just recently opened in April of 2013. Brand new high school just being finished, so the age of the building being a 2013 build makes it state of the art. It will be interesting to see how the students and teachers find the new learning environment to be. That won't be known until next year after both students and faculty get settled in...

The building is old with climate control issues and it's falling down (ceilings, walls and lavatories). The budget is being channeled to build a new school, but basic maintenance is not being done.
