Waukesha South High School offers a very welcoming environment with so many dedicated teachers and strong extracurricular programs that help many of us students to succeed both academically and socially. However, some areas, like school facilities could benefit from improvement to create a modern learning environment.

Good community of people. There are great aspects and less good aspects, as always. However, the general experience is positive.

Only some of the teachers seemed to actually care about students. Those who did seem to care only singled out a few select students from their classes to take under their wing. A lot of students did not receive any one on one time and it made it very hard for a lot of us to feel valued. And I feel like a lot of students did not put as much effort into their school work because of this. I feel like that's how most public schools go though. There simply aren't enough teachers for each student to have an education tailored to their needs.

It’s beyond ridiculous that I’m a sophomore and I’m already experiencing problems with teachers, and students, it’s like a never ending loop, half of the teachers don’t even teach right they don’t know how to act right and they wonder why their students don’t even act right or respect them it’s beca...

I'm generally dissatisfied with the "forward progress" this school is making. South originally took away students phones when they were out in class or misbehaving. I think almost everyone would agree that's fair, and the policy is fine as is. However, with the implementation of a new policy, studen...

South is interesting for me, your Freshman year everything feels super easy and doable. I passed my Freshman year with straight A's and barely any homework... however, once you pass that introductory year, everything really picks up, and you are going to be overwhelmed, "snowballed" by assignments i...
