GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I will say it was once one of those small schools where everyone is familiar with everyone. But it sunk badly to where you get remembered for only rumors. The food is good, sometimes homemade and there are a good amount of sports. But if you don't like sports there are not many options. Some teachers are amazing, but others can feel negligent and distant. Overall nice staff. Not A Safe Environment at times.

Waverly High is a very small, tight-knit school. What I have enjoyed most is being apart of a community that supports our school clubs and activities, and being able to know every single person that attends Waverly. I would love to see more extracurricular activities added to give students more options to explore.

The teachers at Waverly High School range from caring a lot about their students to not really caring if they teach their students anything. There are a select few that work hard, and engage their students, while others don't even care at all.
