The best parts of attending Edgewood High School is the community people are welcoming and understanding. However I would say the worst part is that some of the teachers don't explain the subject well enough for how hard their tests are.

Edgewood High is my safe place. I wake up every morning happy to be at school with my peers and the teachers that care about me. Although the food can be unpleasant, the different varieties make up for it.

It's a small school, which has its pros and cons. Because it was small, there wasn't as many choices for electives or classes, especially STEM-related ones. However, its size did make it feel easier to connect with other students and the teachers.

When I was a student at this school I felt like I was pushed into the IB program which was a lot of extra work and caused my grades to greatly suffer. While I am in college now it was not due to any help from Edgewood. I feel like if I had gone to West Covina High School or Baldwin Park High School...
