Started by the Westbury Church of Christ as a Mother’s Day Out program, Westbury Christian School was formally chartered in 1975. Located in the Meyerland Area in Texas, Westbury Christian accepts students from pre-K through 12th grade.
Lower School students are placed into one of five House Groups and are mentored by older members as well as having to mentor younger members. House meetings are times to practice soft skills and learn more about living out the Christian faith. After chapel, faculty members work with small groups of students to facilitate discussion on chapel topics and help students internalize the lessons.
Successful participation in one or more activities each school year is a requirement for high school graduation. Middle and high school students can choose from a slew of activities including choir, drama, service clubs and a debate club. There is also a variety of sports students can participate in including baseball, basketball, cross-country, football, golf, soccer and volleyball.

We attended WCS for two years. The school provided safe facility for our daughter. It's a small community so there are pros/cons to that aspect of the school. The academics aren't the best or comparable to other schools nearby. They keep the students busy with extracurricular activities which is nice but there could be more college prep supports in place that are similar to other programs. The amount of money is disappointing given the few resources offered.

I came from a public school and I have not been at the school long but I feel known and loved by my teachers and friend. They truly care for me and want the best for me. It's small but these people are like my family.

I recommend WCS because it provides a well rounded education for my children in a safe and loving environment. Everyone truly cares for the students and it feels like home.

I have never felt stronger about anything in my life. This school needs to be investigated. They are not and should not be able to educate our children. I was so very disappointed in our experience with this school and the horrible people involved. This place is a joke.
