GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My experience at south has been a roller coaster of fun from making new friends to being able to get amazing opportunities to learn new things

I have played many sports throughout my high school career at South, and I just wish that somehow the baseball team got more funding. We have a very nice football field with very nice turf, but we have one of the worst baseball fields in the conference. Other than that I think the coaches are all very professional and teach the athletes the best things for them and the program and I wouldn't ask for any better coaches.

The school lunch was great the first 3 years with good quality and variety. However for my senior year there was less variety and less quality. My worst experience was when there was random red powder on my cheeseburger and weird spots on the meat.

My kids are all 6 years apart and they have either gone or will go to WWS. Each of them are into very different extracurriculars and the school had something for all of them. The XC team and coaches are phenomenal. My older kids have met friends for life.

This school is awful. I hated every second of it. The counselors, at least mine, was no help at all. Unless you're an upper-class white kid, the staff and students could not care less about you. If you're not an extroverted white kid, or friends with them, then there's a good chance you'll be bullie...

Overall, this school is alright, but the income inequality is PRETTY bad. If you are not from a high income, then it is hard to be a student here. I was a student athlete and that is the only way I could fit in. The school puts wayyyyy too much Empasis on sports which is the reason the school is pre...
