We have 4 children at Lial and we have been here for 5 years. We love Lial for its multi-age classrooms, the opportunity to learn & excel based on the child's aptitude, the outdoor environment with recess in the woods, the emphasis on faith and being a child of God, and especially, we love the community of caring and supportive families, teachers, and staff. Lial is a special place unlike any other school in the Toledo area.

This is our first year at Lial with our son in Pre-K 3s! We love all the outdoor time that he gets at school along with the small class size. As a Catholic family it was important to send our child to a Catholic institution where the teaching and morals will be installed at a young age even outside our home. We are very thankful for our little school in the woods!

This school is our home away from home. We love all the staff and teachers so much. And they truly love the children. Even during this crazy pandemic and remote learning, we feel supported and that the children's learning is strong as ever.

Teachers and staff do their best to help each child individually. Students are empowered to learn independently and are very prepared for high school. Prayer is folded in as a normal part of life. We are so grateful for Lial!

If you are looking for a school that has a strong base in the Catholic religion you may be disappointed. My daughter was not prepared for her first communion at all! The Nuns treat the children like they have the plague. The kids are not permitted to attend mass in the Chapel because the Sisters are...
