GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

This school is very unique because it is so small and does not work like most public schools. The school primarily focuses on sports and not academics. My favorite experience of attending this school was becoming so close to the other members of the school because it is so small and intimate. I would not want to choose this school again because the quality of the education was very poor, however I would not have a choice as it is the only option for people who live in the town that it is located.

Almost every student participates in sports at this school, and those who do not are not accepted. The sports teams do very well in their districts and are supported by the entire town. There is extensive conditioning and fitness programs to improve performance, however the weight rooms are not the best.

After graduation, I felt completely unprepared for college. I was scared I would not be able to keep up with other students at my university because of my lack of education in high school. Once in college, I still felt less prepared than other students, however I found that I was able to cope with the major change and do well in college by putting all my effort into studying and learning.
