I would like to see the school receive more funding for the arts programs within the school. This is to provide better equipment and more unique experiences for all of the students including those who come from families of lower financial capabilities which are prominent within the schools district.

I loved Lafayette. The best thing about this school is that school spirit is never a problem, especially during football games. The only worst part of my experience was having to drive to softball practice because we did not have a field.

As someone who transferred in as a Junior, I can say that my highschool experience improved significantly at Lafayette High School. There is a strong sense of community within Lafayette that I did not experience at my previous high school. The sports teams are highly competitive and successful. My AP teachers have done a fantastic job preparing me for the AP exams at the end of the year, while also keeping their classes fun and motivating.

This is a Blue Ribbon School. Rigorous academic classes are available all 4 years from inspiring teachers. Extra-curricular activities are available from sports to nationally affiliated clubs with lots of opportunities for any interest.

They participated in school activities and sports and were always respected and treated fairly by students and st...

Communication sucks. They love to spam you with emails and voicemails that aren't relevant to you, but when you have an actual question or concern, you are totally ignored. Good luck getting a response, it's incredibly rude and frustrating.

Excellent teachers, rigorous academic options, and plentiful sports opportunities and leadership options. Great location. Loved my years at LHS both as a student, athlete, and later as an intern.
