I have spent four years at south and have hd a very good time. The thing i think this school is really good is in the AP and honors teachers. They Honors teachers do a good job at preparing you for the AP or CCP classes and then the AP and CCP teachers do a good job at preparing you for college level classes and also teach you the criticulum very well. I think this is since most of our CCP teachers are also the AP teacher and almost all of our AP teachers are AP graders as well.

South is one of the best schools I've been to (I move a lot) however I was let down by some of the staff countless times due to my ADHD, I think I can also speak for some other students. anyway, my favorite class at South was choir, super funny teacher and he does a great job every year, I also enjoyed football games (I was only there for a friend lol, other than the north-south game) I have met some of my first real friends here and probably had the best teenage experience.

Great mid sized school. The athletics at the school are great and the teachers are amazing support systems. The school is very walkable, with ample time to get from class to class. The biggest change I would like to see is more AP classes offered. Although a fair amount of your "everyday" AP classes are offered, I would like to see some of the more unique ones offered.

There needs to be improvement on Foreign Language specifically French Courses that go beyond French II. The teacher needs a stronger curriculum to keep our children up to par with other districts and to meet the collegiate level or AP Language Exam. Poor Classroom Management skills.
