i was a freshman whenever covid had happened and after the virus and quarantine, the whole school had changed. teachers became unmotivated and simply did not care anymore. as a student who cared a lot about my education, it caused me to also lose motivation. not only did the teachers not care about our education, the school was very racist. not only were the students racist but the teachers were too. i dreaded going to school everyday because of the judgemental environment. i am the class of 2023 and i am much more happier now that i do not have to ever go back to franklin county high school.

Some faculty and administration need to be more respectful of others and the students. Also, rather than making students throw a full tray in the trash because they don't have lunch money, the school needs to let people eat. There are clear biases in the way certain students are viewed. I am thankful for the few good teachers and staff I knew while I was there.

Throughout my 4 years at franklin county high school the environment has undergone drastic changes. The band program is dwindling and the academics provided by state standards are ridiculous. I personally did not feel academically prepared for college while being taught at Franklin County High School. Teachers were too focused on test taking skills and how to get good grades which was difficult to wrap my brain around that basis of understanding the material I was being taught.

I would rate my experience with the school and the teachers greatly, but my experience is from the 80's before they moved to the by-pass.

This is the worst school district ever. Drive your kids to Tullahoma City schools before choosing this awful school system.
