I liked how small it was and that I knew almost everyones names. The Sports teams were amazing because you were automatically on the team.

What a gem! This school truly is a hidden secret in the Northwest Hills of CT. My son had a phenomenal experience here and is now in college studying Engineering. Thank you Gilbert for preparing him!

The Gilbert school looks the other way when students are being bullied or harassed and there is no extreme punishment when bullying is being involved. They offer Latin and mandarin to middle schoolers. All of the teachers really care and take their jobs seriously. My son is so happy at this school. Definitely a bright light in Winsted.
