The best parts about Gilbert is the hands on classes like wood shops and rock pop. In wood shop I got to create, design, and refurbish a lot of things. In rock pop which is a class where you form a rock band and perform live at a concert I learned how to play bass guitar and that I really like it. The worst part about Gilbert is the food the proportions are not good for older students.

The Gilbert school looks the other way when students are being bullied or harassed and there is no extreme punishment when bullying is being involved. They offer Latin and mandarin to middle schoolers. All of the teachers really care and take their jobs seriously. My son is so happy at this school. Definitely a bright light in Winsted.
