Overall winters high school has been good. My favorite part of winters High school is easily the sports programs they hold. I was involved in football and basketball every year and had a great experience with coaches and teammates every year. The off-season activities each sport hold are great swell. From the football camp to open gyms for basketball winters High does a great job. The on lacking point of the school is the student culture.

Winters High School has not been updated to meet the requirements for most students' readiness for college. They lack AP programs, clubs, sports, etc. Though the teachers and staff are like family and clearly love what they do, the facilities are subpar and there needs to be more college ready courses offered.

I liked that it is based in a small town, because that small town allows students to feel at home. The struggles came from the classroom curriculum, not the atmosphere.

While the school is limited to some extent by its small size (making it more challenging to offer as wide a variety of opportunities as larger districts) the opportunity is here for the taking for any student who is so motivated. We made a conscience choice to have our children attend school in Wint...

However, it does need to offer a variety of courses such as introduction to engineering and/or computer science; courses that are more applicable t...

What we do here is we learn in the matter we want it does not get boring and make you want to fall asleep. Our Ag Program is really fun, great, and makes students have great public speaking skills.
