The school provides students the opportunity for dual enrollment which allows them to take classes for college credit while still in high school. This saves so much money for students and helps prepare them for when they graduate. Most of the teachers truly care about the success of the students and want them to flourish.

Winterset High school is a very friendly and well-round school. The teachers here at Winterset High school are always friendly and are always willing to work with you to become the best person you can be. wheater that's with sports, academics, or just yourself. The Winterset schools staff also work hard to make these schools feel safe and allow their schools to be a "place of freedom". we have a free councilling to students who need it and quiet centers if they need to let off steam or just be by themselves.

I like the atmosphere of the Winterset Senior High School. Everybody was very friendly. I loved the size of my grade because if I need help with any class I could have one on one time with the teacher.
