GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The school is small and has small classes that allows teachers to know students personally. The principal is very involved with the school and knows all of us personally. While being in a small school has its downfalls, this school has done well at overcoming those challenges.

A healthier lunch needs to be provided, and a better educational environment for students. Some teachers need to be more closely monitored when it comes to their teaching methods or lack of.

I had a "small town" experience". Everyone was very close, and classrooms were very small. I would say it is a whole lot different from a lot of other schools. It is extremely hard to get prepared for colleges here with the level of help from guidance counselors.

Teachers here will always have their favorites and will choose them over teaching anything for their other students. Most teachers leading different organizations only care about that and not teaching the kids. I’ve spent days to weeks doing nothing in a classroom because they want their favorites t...

I am a CCHS Alum. If this review could keep 1 person from going to Cannon County High, I feel I have done my job to its highest degree. I graduated CCHS in 2011, with little-to-no appreciation for knowledge or the student body of whom I still keep in touch with...one of. I am now a college graduate,...

This school is BEYOND horrible. The bullying is utterly ignored. The teachers discriminate. They encourage this behavior in students in spite of the "anti bullying policy" which is a complete joke. The principle rarely addresses the issue and on the rare occasions when he does, he does NOT take meas...
