I was one of 3 other students who at the time that the school was being built, entered a contest to name the new elementary school being built in East York. I went to Heistand Elementary School in the early 1960's and graduated from York Suburban High School in 1969.

My husband is a Professor, so education is of paramount importance. Have acted as a room Mother with three of my children here. Plenty of great opportunities to be involved, stellar educators, top of the line curriculum, can't say enough positives!
