We had an excellent group of athletes in all sports during my years at this school. Everyone was very involved in the games and showed a lot support. We were very competitive at every sporting event.

I felt the school was very safe and healthy. I never saw any bullying or security issues.

There was a huge ethnic diversity which is a good thing. I will say that the cliques at the school were pretty bad. If you were in sports, you were friends with the jocks. If you were in band, your friends were people in band. I do remember a few fights because this was our first year of middle school, and majority of the elementary schools were combined at Yucca Middle School.

My son struggled the past two years at this school. The principal is awful and has zero compassion. My son was so distressed by the lack of support he received even though he repeatedly asked for help that he has severe anxiety, and has high amounts of stress. Horrible experience. My son, a straight A student, was bullied and was threatened. He became depressed and had anxiety. He made a cry for help and that was taken the wrong way. Instead of understanding the situation and trying to help him they expelled him and he ended up in a mental health hospital...

9 out of 10. Everyone is very helpful. Most teachers try to learn everyone's names so they can be a mentor as well as a teacher.
