Art and nature come together in a colorful community
Set into 3,000 acres of woodland between Spring and Conroe, Artavia puts focus on the “art” part of its name. This brand-new master-planned neighborhood sports the tagline “live colorfully” and curates a lively lifestyle with extensive amenities and a packed event calendar. Nature-inspired art installations—dubbed “ARTscapes”—embrace the community's creative side. It also has an increasingly popular location in a previously rural section of Montgomery County. Artavia is 11 miles from Conroe, which was previously one of Houston’s smallest suburbs. “What I hear from people is that they just love living on the north side. Commutes are better, traffic is much less,” says Ryan Kutter, a commercial agent with Connect Realty who has been selling homes for 16 years. “Conroe used to be a small town, but it’s grown as word has gotten out.” While the neighborhood has the amenities to stand independently, residents will have a longer drive to get to surrounding cities, particularly downtown Houston.
