What Does Pre-Foreclosure Mean?

If a listing says “Pre-Foreclosure,” this means that the borrower is in default on their loan obligation and/or the bank or lender has initiated foreclosure proceedings. The listing is occupied, so do not disturb the occupants. Trespassing is a criminal offense. To make sure you are looking at homes that are on the market, you can use our filters and select “For Sale.”
