Bayside is one of the seven boroughs of Virginia Beach and is considered a great place for nature lovers. It’s worth mentioning that many Bayside homes are primarily brick ranch homes built between the 1940s and 1950s. Three-bedroom ranch-style homes can range between $280,000 and $350,000, where some have been fully renovated, and others maintain their historical features. Residents also live in Colonial-inspired suburban homes with attached two-car garages, which can cost around $500,000. With the lakes making up the heart of the neighborhood, many homes sit along the waterfront, and some have their own private docks or boat launches. North Shore is a luxury community with over 100 properties lining the shores of Lake Smith. Bayside Recreation Center includes several opportunities for exercise and sports and includes a youth game room and indoor playground. Bayside also hugs the Cypress Point Country Club, which offers public and member tee times, a pool, and the Cypress Bar & Grill.
