West Manor is an established residential community in Westside Atlanta
West Manor is a residential community in Westside Atlanta where not much has changed since its development in the 1950s and ‘60s. “It’s a quiet, older neighborhood,” says Paul Campbell, an associate broker with TIA Investments who’s sold homes in the area for around 34 years, noting that many of the residents have lived here for a long time. “It’s very stable.” The community is anchored by Mount Vernon Baptist Church, which has stood on the corner of Lyndhurst and Benjamin E. Mays Drives since 1963, and West Manor Park, whose community center was recently renovated. Interstate 285 borders the community, and downtown Atlanta is about 9 miles away.
