While residents who live on the water can use kayaks at their leisure, no house has a dock. "There's actually no docks in the Belfair," Sroufe says. "That was a decision of the community." "We also have a 29-acre learning facility," Sroufe says. "Which is strictly for learning how to play golf." Golf is huge in Belfair, but locals enjoy many other recreational activities. "This is a very active and social community, and there's a lot of activities going on all the time," Sroufe says. "You may not be a golfer, so there's also a strong tennis and pickleball community here." Six tennis courts sit behind the Fitness Center at Belfair's Sports and Lifestyle Campus, and a few grass courts are in front of the Clubhouse. Belfair offers residents the opportunity to join a league, enroll in a clinic or participate in tennis drills.
