The old village in Northeast Ohio
Named after the waterfall at its center, Chagrin Falls is a small village situated atop the Chagrin River. Residents enjoy the perks of having highly-rated schools, a convenient shopping district, scenic views and a strong community spirit.
“People are proud to live here,” says Kelsey Wolf, a realtor with the award winning Karen Eagle Group and Chagrin Falls resident. “Everyone is friendly, and everyone knows each other. They speak and wave to you when you walk by. It’s really as charming as it gets,” she says.

Shops in Downtown Chagrin
Downtown Chagrin is not just a shopping, dining and event hub, it's a testament to the village's unique character. Around Triangle Park, rows of small shops and restaurants line North Main. “Everyone shops small businesses,” says Wolf. “You'll hardly find any chains. There’s a Starbucks, but it’s mostly locally owned places.”
Community cornerstones include 17 River Grille, Yours Truly and Chagrin Falls Popcorn Shop, which has been serving artisan popcorn for over 70 years. Ample boutiques, bookstores, toy stores, banks and coffee shops are also situated in Downtown Chagrin. “You can grab a coffee from Hartwood, maybe go to the bookstore. There are tons of boutiques and places to grab lunch,” says Wolf.
For essentials, there’s Chagrin Falls Shopping Plaza which is home to Heinen's Grocery Store and CVS.

Riverside Park hosts various festivals in the spring and summer, including Art by the Falls, sponsored by the Valley Art Center. And for indoor entertainment, residents head to the Chagrin Valley Little Theater or Chagrin Valley Roller Rink on South Main Street.
