Why homebuyers choose Yorkmount’s peaceful suburban setting

Yorkmount is an established neighborhood in southwest Charlotte that draws homebuyers who want a quieter atmosphere while still being close to the trendy Lower South End and Ayrsley. Its home prices are a major draw, with properties typically selling for less than the citywide median. Residents enjoy a suburban lifestyle, with big-box stores, sit-down restaurants and nightlife spots within a few minutes’ drive. Families appreciate having two large parks nearby, and commuters can quickly hop onto the highway to reach Uptown and other job hubs.

Single-family homes on roomy lots with mature trees

The housing stock in Yorkmount leans vintage. You’ll find small cottages, ranch-style homes and split-levels from the 1950s through the 1980s, as well as Colonial Revivals and New Traditionals from the 1990s and early 2000s. Many of these homes have been updated over the years. There’s also some new construction. Properties rest on spacious tree-shaded lots with enough room for gardens, backyard pools and sheds. If you’re looking for a lower-maintenance option, there are townhouses and condos primarily built after 2000.

There are a lot of job opportunities available. The only thing about it is that the wage is rarely about the minimum listed. It is very opportunistic for those in dire need of employment and there is guarantee that it could be found.
