Close to beaches and trails
Otay Town residents enjoy being close to both the beach and within walking distance of one of the South Bay area’s largest trail-patterned open spaces. While homes here are a bit older than in west Chula Vista, the city continues to invest in infrastructure improvements. Sidewalks and intersections are being upgraded to boost walkability, and plans for bike facilities, transit stops and aesthetic landscaping along its Main Street east-west artery are underway. “In the last decade, the city has been investing so much in the area that real estate values are rising fast,” says Nestor Rodriguez, area resident and Realtor with Real Broker. “You even have mobile homes doubling in value. And it’s only getting better. There’s a lot of potential here.”
