Suburban Neighborhood in Cleveland, Ohio
Cuyahoga County 44111, 44135

A range of home styles
Kamm’s Corners offers a wide range of single-family houses. “There are starter homes, step-up homes and larger family homes,” says Kelley. “You can buy your first home here, and then, when you need more space in a few years, you can move across the street, around the block,” he says. Housing styles include bungalows, ranches, Tudors and Colonials, most of which are over 80 years old. Prices range from $100,00 to $450,000, and houses tend to sell fast and above asking.Northwest Freeway and Cleveland Hopkins Airport
This neighborhood is bordered north by Northwest Freeway, providing convenient commute options into the Greater Cleveland Area. “You can get downtown in 15 minutes,” says Kelley.” “Lake Erie is only a short drive away, and you can get to the airport in 5 to 10 minutes,” he says. Although Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital is at this neighborhood’s center, Cleveland Hopkins International Airport is 3 miles south, and a major highway borders it to the north, Kelley says the neighborhood is still a quiet area. “It’s not noisy at all,” he says. “Maybe if you buy right along the highway, but even then, that’s still one of the nicest areas. If you hear noise, it would be surprising and stand out.”Kamm’s Plaza, local dining and North Olmsted
Kamm’s Plaza is the one-stop shop for shopping and dining needs. Located centrally on Rocky River Drive and Lorain Avenue, residents can get a haircut at Kamm’s Plaza Barbershop, grab groceries at Marc’s or get sweet treats at Peace, Love and Little Donuts. Gene's Place is a popular spot to grab breakfast, while West Park Station serves up Irish, American and Italian food with the sound of live bands. For everyday essentials, residents go 7 miles west to North Olmsted, where the sprawling Great Northern Mall houses a variety of stores. There's also a Walmart and Target in the area.Cleveland Metro Park and Neighborhood Parks
Bordered west by Cleveland Metro Parks, Kamm’s Corners residents have access to 75 acres of scenic greenery atop the Rocky River. The area features a wide range of activities, like Little Met Golf, a 9-hole course that gets busiest on weekends. Tyler Field has open green space for soccer games and is along the stretching Valley Parkway Trail. And, to catch steelhead and smallmouth bass, residents head to Morley Ford Fishing Area. Also, numerous neighborhood parks are dappled throughout Kamm’s Corners. Gunning Park Recreation Center features an indoor swimming pool, basketball court, and weight room, as well as a playground and open space for field sports. Impett Park is on the community’s northern edge and also features a pool and open green space. And small playgrounds, like Drakefield Park, are within walking distance for most residences.Public, private and charter schools
"There are Cleveland Public schools, private schools, and charter schools. There are many options for you,” says Kelley. Public options include Westpark Community, a charter option that serves pre-k through 8th graders. The school is divided into an elementary sector, which has a B-plus rating on Niche, and a middle school, which has a D-plus. Newton D. Baker School of the Arts is a Blue Ribbon certified, pre-k through 8th-grade magnet school with a C rating. John Marshall School of Engineering is a popular nearby public high school with a C-plus rating. Kelley says many families send kids to nearby private schools, like Lutheran West High School & Middle School, which serves 6th through 12th and has an A-minus rating.Kamm’s Corner Street Festival
The Hooley, Kamm’s Corners annual street festival celebrates the community’s history in Irish culture and showcases local artists and businesses. The event is held around Kamm’s Plaza and is a vibrant, lively event for community bonding.
