Midcentury homes and million-dollar estates
Though lots in East Davis are usually on the smaller side, streets and sidewalks are lush with greenery, including mature oak, sycamore and cypress trees. On the neighborhood’s west side, ranch-style homes and bungalows date back to the 1950s, ‘60s and ‘70s. These three- or four-bedroom homes range from $650,000 to $1.1 million, depending on size. The Lake Alhambra Estates subdivision, in the neighborhood’s northeast corner, features custom-built homes from the late ‘90s and early 2000s. Some are Tudor- and Spanish Revival-style, while others are new traditional with Spanish-style arched doorways or Victorian-inspired elements like turrets. Rancho Yolo Mobile Home Park, a 55-plus community, sits on the neighborhood’s west side, with dozens of two- or three-bedroom manufactured units, all with covered carports.
