For groceries, residents can stop by Superior Grocers, located on the northern edge of the neighborhood. Many community events like El Monte Farmers Market, Dive-in Movies and more
From March through October, locals and vendors converge at the weekly El Monte Farmers Market. Every Thursday on Main Street, locals can find fresh produce, prepared foods and entertainment like vintage car displays. More community events include the Santa Float in December, where Mr. Claus and his elves drive through the streets of El Monte in a sleigh. There’s also a Tiny Tot Turkey Trot, where kids dressed in turkey costumes can race and play in bounce houses.Proximity to LA, Monrovia and Arcadia
