A Kalispell suburb surrounded by lakes, rivers and mountains
Evergreen is a suburb of Kalispell in northwest Montana that is surrounded by spectacular outdoor attractions. The community serves as a center for nearby tourist attractions, making tourism a major industry. The area has experienced growth since the COVID pandemic. “We have several million visitors come to Glacier National Park every year,” says Ben Dorrington, Assistant Executive Director of the Evergreen Chamber of Commerce. “Evergreen is the last hub before you get to the national park. In the winter, it’s Whitefish Mountain Resort, which is one of the top ten ski resorts in the United States. Flathead Lake is the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi River. So, we’re just in an unbelievable spot, and that’s why everybody wants to move here.”
