Older and renovated homes at a lower cost
The median price for homes here is $335,000, lower than state and national numbers. Home styles in the area include one and two-story New Traditionals and Tudor revivals. Plots of land are also for sale. Ishfaque Hossain, a real estate agent with Keller Williams Signature, says many of the homes are older but prices are “more reasonable than other parts of the city.” However, residents do need to be mindful of hurricanes and severe storms. The area was heavily affected by Hurricane Harvey in 2017, with heavy flooding. However, Hossain says many of the houses in Four Corners were renovated after the storm.
