Two-bedroom homes with golf course views
Set along sidewalk-lined streets dotted by palm trees and low-water plantings, Trilogy’s two-bedroom homes are mostly ranch-style from the early 2000s; these homes have attached garages and Spanish Revival-inspired stylings, like terracotta-tiled roofs, exterior archways and tan stucco exteriors. Lot sizes range from 5,000 to 7,000 square feet with 1,300 to 2,500 square feet of living space. Young says front yards vary between grass or rock-filled desert landscaping, and special features like private pools and fairway-facing views of the neighboring Power Ranch Golf Course are particularly desirable. Trilogy’s homes are a part of the local homeowners association, where monthly dues are about $200 and go toward neighborhood maintenance; Young says Trilogy’s dues are relatively low in comparison to other nearby HOAs. Prices typically range from $400,000 to $800,000, depending on a home’s size and features.Sports, clubs and more for Trilogy residents
Residents can enjoy two swimming pools: one for play, one for laps, and both for cooling off on hot summer days, when temperatures here regularly top 100 degrees. The fitness center includes courts for pickleball, tennis and bocce, and in the clubhouse, folks can play billiards or relax with a book in the Tranquility Library. There are tons of social clubs to join, for activities that range from hiking to quilting, theatre and ceramics. The public, 18-hole course at Power Ranch Golf Club is right next to Trilogy, and many homes facing the course’s rolling fairways and lush greenery; the club also offers a driving range and private coaching. Three miles west, Gilbert Regional Park is the spot for a morning jog on the paved trails.Resident-only events all year long
Trilogy offers a packed schedule of year-round community events, including bingo sessions, movie matinees and karaoke nights. There are typically several events each week, and they vary from month to month. “We get concerts brought in just for the residents,” Young says. Annual traditions include the Halloween Spooktacular in October and the Holiday Gala in December; at the former, families are invited to trunk-or-treat in Trilogy, and neighbors dress up for the costume contest at the Monster Mash party. Community classes and wellness seminars are offered as well, where residents can learn about topics like iPhone basics and diabetes prevention.Getting around the Greater Phoenix area
Young says most residents walk or drive their electric golf carts to get around the neighborhood. There isn’t any nearby public transportation, so residents drive or use rideshare services when leaving Trilogy, though Gilbert streets are typically bike-friendly as well. Downtown Gilbert is about 13 miles northwest, and Phoenix is 34 miles away heading northwest along Route 202, which is found 7 miles northwest. East Valley Hospital is 5 miles north. “Having nearby access to top healthcare gives residents one less thing to worry about,” says Johnson. Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport, a regional airport, is also 5 miles north, and Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is 30 miles northwest.Groceries and restaurants within a mile
Slate Bistro & Bar’s located within Trilogy, offering breakfast, lunch and dinner menus with comfort food classics like buttermilk pancakes in the morning and shrimp alfredo in the evening. Young recommends the prime rib with creamy horseradish, au jus and baked potato with butter. Residents may also sign up for the Slate Wine Club, which grants access to a private, curated selection of wines. For a cup of coffee or snack, Cafe Santa Fe is in Trilogy’s clubhouse. Occasionally, special dinners are offered in the cafe’s dining area, like Taco Tuesday, Pie Night and charcuterie socials. In the community's northeast corner, there’s a shopping plaza with a Safeway grocery store, some chain shops and a few fast-food restaurants, like Panda Express and Rosati’s Pizza. Higley Village Shops is about a mile west, where folks can find several small businesses, medical offices and local restaurants, including authentic Thai cuisine at Ta Lew Thai Bistro.
