Valle Hermosa
Valle Hermosa features compact homes with a cohesive style
The houses around this neighborhood are all very similar — bungalow styles built in the 1970s and '80s, attached at the garage, and between 800 and 1,200 square feet. Williams says they all have private backyards and that most have been cared for over the years. The interiors feature galley-style kitchens, two bedrooms, and one or two bathrooms. Prices fall between $200,000 and $300,000.A city park is around the corner and several golf courses are nearby
Some residents in Valle Hermosa are within walking distance of the 12-acre Gibbel Park, with plenty of open field space. “[Residents] can go, they can picnic in there,” Williams says. “[The park] is nice, it’s clear. It’s well taken care of.” Gibbel also has lighted tennis courts, horseshoe pits, a ball diamond, and a roughly 23,000-square-foot skate park that opened in 2024. Golfers have several choices of courses within the city, including the public Seven Hills Golf Course, about 3 miles away.Ramona Bowl Amphitheatre is known for it's long-running play "Ramona"
The neighborhood is a 5-mile trip from the 5,000-seat Ramona Bowl Amphitheatre, which was built into the natural, mountain landscape. The venue hosts an annual production of the “Ramona” play every April and May. It’s a tradition that dates back more than 100 years, and the love story is considered the longest-running outdoor drama in the country. “It’s almost like you’re drawn to go to it,” Williams says. “People travel just to see the play.”Florida Avenue is packed with stores, restaurants and a well-known pie shop
Residents in Valle Hermosa are minutes from Florida Avenue, a stretch of big-box retail stores, grocers and places to eat. The Hemet Valley Mall is among the options, a spot with JCPenney, Hobby Lobby and more. The mall is across the road from a Sprouts Farmers Market and next to Polly’s Pies, a regional chain with locations in Riverside, Orange and Los Angeles counties. “They love Polly’s Pies,” Williams says. “People go in there and they’re super regulars. And it’s good food.”Local schools in Hemet Unified School District offer many extracurricular activities
Though Valle Hermosa has age restrictions, it falls within the city's Hemet Unified School District, which carries a B grade on Niche. The neighborhood is zoned for schools including the C-plus-rated Fruitvale Elementary and C-rated Rancho Viejo Middle, where extracurricular opportunities include sports teams from cross-country to boys’ and girls’ basketball. Tahquitz High has a B grade and offers electives, including macroeconomics and photojournalism.Riverside Transit Agency has more than 30 routes, commuters are close to I-10

The neighborhood is about 2 miles from the 327-bed Hemet Global Medical Center and under 40 miles from the San Bernardino International Airport via California State Route 79 and Interstate 10. Drivers continuing on I-10 can get to Los Angeles in about 90 miles.
