Scenic, slow-paced living below the San Bernardino Mountains
Named after a resort on the French Riviera, Mentone was the health spa capital of Southern California when 1880s-era Angelenos took the train inland to soak up this bucolic locale's fresh mountain air. Today, “Mentone is popular for the privacy and views and for its proximity to Redlands. That’s where people go for shopping and dining,” says Eliza Othman, Realtor at Keller Williams Riverside Central with over 20 years of experience. Mentone residents enjoy quiet, relaxed living roughly 15 miles from Downtown San Bernadino.
