"The Honolulu Avenue shopping strip has tons of mom-and-pop shops," Sevan says. "It's got coffee shops, restaurants, shopping and bookstores. They do a farmers market there on the weekend, and there's Oktoberfest when they close down the little strip. They have events all the time. It's like a little downtown."

The Montrose Christmas Parade and other events
The annual Montrose Christmas Parade, which has been celebrated for over 45 years, brings together residents and visitors for a festive evening of floats, bands and holiday cheer. Getting around the valley
Interstate 210, also known as The Foothill Freeway, runs through the center of La Crescenta-Montrose, providing efficient routes to Pasadena and Downtown Los Angeles. Also, the Glendale Beeline runs multiple bus routes through the area. Burbank International Airport is 11 miles west of the neighborhood — usually about 25 minutes by car.
