Midcentury charm in south Missoula
Most homes in Lewis and Clark are midcentury modern ranch-style houses, many of which are still in their original condition. "The houses are so cool. You can find some untouched midcentury moderns in that neighborhood that have the full orange shag carpet situation with pristinely preserved hardwoods underneath. Architecture-wise, I think that's one of the coolest neighborhoods in town," Robson says. The suburban neighborhood has spacious front and back yards but little room between the homes. Driveways and built-in garages are standard throughout the community, and most streets have sidewalks that offer walkability through the area. A mix of leafy trees and tall pines frame the streets, providing natural beauty and shade during the summer. Homes in the neighborhood typically cost between $400,000 and $650,000.Enjoying Montana's natural scenery in Lewis and Clark
