The median sale price for a home in Mounds View is $270,000, with most houses selling after an average of 20 days on the market. “There are townhomes from $300,000 to $400,000, which are a bit more affordable comparatively, and single-family homes range from around $300K, topping out around $600K,” Diffley says. A 3 bedroom, 2 bath ranch sold for $320,000 in June 2022 and a 4 bedroom, 3 bath Contemporary sold for $465,000 in January 2022. Kids in Mounds View start their education at Sunnyside Elementary School, where they have the chance to partner with local artists to create community artwork. For lunch, Moe’s American Grill is a fun bar for all ages. “It’s very much a chicken sandwich and burger kind of place with tap beer,” Diffley says. And for dinner, consider something with an Asian flare. Pink Flower Vietnamese is known for its fast service and inviting atmosphere – locals suggest the pho and egg rolls. Stop in at the nearby Aldi or CVS on the way home for groceries or essentials.
